Karen Pell Atkinson, 62 of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021.

She was born in Fayetteville, NC on October 22, 1958, to the late Carl and Cathy Pell.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Atkinson and Tiffany Atkinson; a grandson, Trey Waymyers; a brother David Pell and wife Jayne; and a sister Deborah Barber.

Karen retired from Fayetteville Technical Community College after 32 years of dedicated service.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She cherished making memories with family and loved ones.  She attended Snyder Memorial Baptist Church where she participated in weekly Bible Study and shared her beautiful voice with the praise choir.  She always felt closest to God when she was at the beach enjoying His creation.

Well done thy good and faithful servant.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 2pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church.
