Annie Jane Johnson

Annie Jane Johnson went to her Heavenly Home on January 25, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Frances Johnson as well as her son, James (Bo) Nabors. She leaves behind many who loved her including three adoring daughters, Patricia Nabors, Karen Buck and Gloria Buck (Harold); her eight grandchildren, Patrick, Anne, Carrie, Ryan, Rachel, Brittney, Morgan and Leslie and 10 great-grandchildren. Annie’s dear siblings include her twin sister, Jean Huggins as well her sisters Dorothy Shelton and Sarah Gomez, and brothers Jackie Johnson and Paul Johnson. Siblings preceding her to Heaven’s Gate were Mary Trapp, James Johnson, Susie Bromley, Debbie Zabawa and Stevie Johnson. We know she is rejoicing around a big table with all the angels.

She graduated from Massey Hill High School in 1962. Annie loved butterflies and decorating with floral arrangements. Her favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles, reading good books and “passing them along”, finding a good bargain and watching cooking shows. She would welcome someone in and offer a Coca-Cola with anyone who visited. We will miss the smile on her face, the chuckle in her voice and the dance in her step.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV) “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
