Wilma Williams

Wilma Crumpler Williams, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Johnston Medical Center.

She was born in Cumberland County on July 2, 1929 to the late Austin and Mattie Crumpler.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Williams; siblings, Estelle Cade, Christine Horne, Royce Crumpler, Willa Matthews, and Douglas Crumpler.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Angie Dimsdale and husband Keith of Smithfield; her beloved Grandchildren, Brian Dimsdale of Raleigh, Emily Dimsdale of Raleigh; brothers, Millard Crumpler and wife Naomi of Apex, JA Crumpler of Fayetteville; sister, JoAnn Stamps of Sanford; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service in Fayetteville.  Her funeral will follow at 12:30 pm at the funeral home and will conclude with her burial at Lafayette Memorial Park.
