Willy Chua, lovingly known as Boboy, passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 69.
Preceding Willy in death was his parents, Joseph and Vicenta Chua as well as his sisters, Jane and Marilyn.
Born on April 2, 1957, in the Philippines, Willy will be remembered as a kind-hearted, soft-spoken, and generous man whose warmth touched everyone around him. He had a gift for making others smile and loved to crack jokes, bringing lightness and laughter wherever he went. To those who knew him best, he was a loving husband and father, as well as a wonderful uncle, and he was deeply loved by everyone fortunate enough to share in his life.
Willy found great joy in traveling, especially in the memories he made while always traveling with his wife, Maria. Those journeys reflected the life he cherished most: one rooted in togetherness, love, and shared experiences. Among the blessings of his life, one of his proudest accomplishments was being a part of raising Aljune, Anna, and Faith, a role he held close to his heart and carried with love.
Left to cherish Willy's memory is his wife of 32 years, Maria Leah; children, Aljune (Kitty), Anna, and Faith; siblings, Livingstone, William, Rachel, and Rosa; his furry companions, Cookie, Uno, Prada, and Chanel, as well as many other family and friends.
His presence was gentle, steady, and full of affection, and his memory will live on in the laughter he inspired, the kindness he showed, and the love he gave so freely. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and devotion that will continue to be treasured by all who knew him.
