LTC (Ret) William "Bill" Isaac Cecil

US Army LTC (ret) William “Bill” Cecil, 92, of Fayetteville, passed away August 19, 2023.

He proudly served multiple tours during the Vietnam war.  After his retirement he traveled the world with his dear friend, Ingelore Holthe. 

He was born January 27, 1931, in Denver, CO to the late Harley and Sarah Cecil. Also preceding him in death was his sister, JoAnne Glaze.

Left to cherish Bill’s memory is his dear friend, Annemarie Estep (Curtis); niece, Patricia Greene; nephews, Robert Glaze and Gregory Glaze; brother-in-law, John “Jack” Glaze; Annemarie’s children, Jenna Estep, Loranne Sewell (Thomas); Annemarie’s grandchildren,  Ayden, Madeline Grace, Logan, and Shepard; and many friends.

The family will honor his life with a private celebration.
