Wesley Bryan Seamon, 77, died on May 1, 2025, at his home. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emily K. Seamon.
He was born to the late Ralph Eugene Seamon and Helen Ruth Frye Seamon.
Wesley had been a resident of Kannapolis, Concord, and Fayetteville, NC. He was active in the student council in high school and acted in plays at that time. He was an Eagle Scout and a graduate of Wake Forest University. He married Emily on February 15, 1969. He served as a juvenile court counselor for many years in both Fayetteville and Concord, and before he retired he was Chief Court Counselor for District 19. He also served as pastor at Pleasant Hill Advent Christian Church and then Lees Union Advent Christian Church in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was an avid reader throughout his life. He also loved to garden.
He is survived by three children, Jennifer Seamon of Fayetteville, Jeremy Seamon of Wilmington, and Luke Seamon and daughter-in-law Silvija Seamon of Lancaster, PA, grandchildren Bee Poe, Faith Seamon, Nol Poe, Gracie Seamon, and Steph Seamon, and siblings Pat McGeorge and Ron Seamon.
Services will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Fayetteville on May 24th at 2 p.m., with a visitation immediately after the service and at the graveside in Kannapolis at Carolina Memorial Park on May 25th at 12:30 p.m.
Arrangements are being handled at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Home in Fayetteville, NC.
