Mrs. Vivian Neal Smith, 92, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 in Richmond, VA. Mrs. Smith was born on June 5, 1920 in Leaksville, NC . She was the daughter of the late Mr. Joseph Neal and Mrs. Hattie Neal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Meriwell “Merle†T. Smith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her two daughters, Melody Smith of Richmond, VA and Suzannah Smith Tucker and husband Mack of Fayetteville, NC; a son, Rodney Smith and wife Lynn of Port Orange, FL; six grandchildren, Erin Hustead Sutton and husband Kasey of Richmond, VA, Zachary Hustead of Richmond, VA, Wendy Maness Curl and husband Ron of Alpharetta, GA. , Lisa Smith Vigrass and husband Greg of Bradenton, FL, Lora Smith of Tallahassee, FL, and Lindsey Smith of Deland, FL; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Curl, Allyson Curl and McKenna Vigrass.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory, Inc. from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A private graveside service will follow.
