US Army MSG (Ret) William David McQuigg, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021.

He was born on October 23, 1948, in Nashville, TN, to the late Joe and Juanita McQuigg.

William leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Penny; sons, David McQuigg and wife Cege, Johnny McQuigg and wife Geri; grandchildren, Lesleah, Johnathon, Coral, Aron, Evan, Blaydn, Peyton; brother, Eddie McQuigg and wife Connie; and sister, Kathy McQuigg and husband David.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, April 7, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. A funeral service is planned for 9:30am on Thursday, April 8, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
