Syble Estelle Whatley

Syble Estelle Whatley, 91, of Raeford, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Village Green.

She was born in Florida on September 19, 1926.  She was preceded in death by her husband Vancle Whatley.

Syble was a long time member of Lake Rim Baptist Church.

Syble is survived by her daughter Barbara McHone and husband Robert, Beverly Herron and husband Bill; sons, Ronald Whatley and wife Beverly, Roger Whatley and wife Mary; grandchildren, Jennifer Sides, Aaron Bierie, Jason Herron, Stacey McCarter, Shannon Castrillo, Jeffrey Whatley, Steven Whatley, Jamie Castrillo, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and brother, John Pelham and wife Leoda

Her funeral service is scheduled at 11 am on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in the chapel of Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, January 15, 2018, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
