Susan Parrish Ashburn

Susan Parrish Ashburn, 75, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 after a short illness.  Susan was born in Charlotte, NC on July 27, 1946

She is survived by her husband and partner of over 30 years, Bobby Ashburn, who was at her side.  She is also survived be a sister, Lynn Black of Arden, NC, and brothers James Parrish (wife Jean) of Cary, NC, and Joel Parrish (wife Billie) of Charlotte, NC.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her two brothers, Jon Parrish of Clover, SC and Jeffrey Parrish of York, SC.

Susan was employed at Highland Country Club prior to retiring in 2015.

Susan was loved by everyone who knew her and never had a harsh word for anyone.  Although Susan never had any kids, she had numerous pets during her life and never met a dog or cat she didn’t love.

Susan was home and in hospice care at the time of her death.

She will be severely missed by family and friends, however we realize that she is in a much better place at this time.
