Rose Thweatt

Mrs. Rose Thweatt, 76, of Fayetteville, went home to be with her Lord, on Friday, May 5, 2023.

Rose was born November 27, 1946, in Fayetteville, to the late Robert and Alma Rhodes.  She worked for John Ayers CPA and was also a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 12 pm at First Baptist Church, 201 Anderson Street, with Rev. Robert James presiding.  The burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Ashley Parker and husband Timothy Parker, of Spring Lake; two grandchildren, Danielle Parker and Chandler Parker; sister, Ava Spivey of Sanford; and brother, Bobby Rhodes and his wife Gail, of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Thweatt; and daughter, Alisa Thweatt.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 8, from 6 to 8 pm at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service.
