Robert Eugene Draughon, 86, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
Robert was born in Harnett County on December 8, 1939 to the late Margaret Anna Wagstaff and William Alvin Draughon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Melvadell Carol Bright Draughon.
Robert leaves behind his son, Desmond Draughon, brothers, Lynwood (Barb) Draughon and Alvin Draughon.
The family will welcome friends at Sullivan's Highland Funeral service from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Northwood Temple. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
Services are entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
