Phyllis Wright Park, born April 21, 1933, in Dowville, New Brunswick, Canada, passed away on August 21, 2026.
Phyllis will be remembered as a woman whose life was marked by devotion to her family, steady work, and the simple joys that made a house feel like a home. She worked as an office manager with a law firm, bringing care and dependability to her profession. In her personal life, she found happiness in house plants and flower gardens, in spoon collections, and in collecting lighthouses. She was also a faithful member of Windsor United Methodist Church in Ammon, North Carolina.
Above all, Phyllis’s life was deeply rooted in family. She is lovingly survived by her children, Anita Park Haley (Alan), Robert Anthony Park (Prudence), and Lisa Lynn Park (Richard). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Nicole Park Price (Andrew), Robert Brandon Park, Olivia Haley Pratt (Jason), Phillip Matthew Park (Kayle), and Samuel Thomas Park. Her legacy continues in her great-grandchildren, Mason Price, Landon Price, Hudson Price, Charlotte Park, Archer Park, and Annabeth Pratt. Through each generation, she leaves a lasting imprint of love and family connection that will continue to be felt for years to come.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde T. Park; her father, Percy Wright; and her mother, Velma Wright. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Donald, Louise, Leona, Leota, and Robert, and by her great-grandson, Jordan. Their memories remained part of the story of her life, and she now rests with those who went before her.
