Pathminidevi Markandu

Pathminidevi Markandu,76, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at her home.  She is the daughter of

P S A Ponnuthurai and Kanagammah and she was born on July, 1, 1941, in Kaladdy, Jaffna, Sri Lanka.

Pathminidevi is preceded in death by her husband Ponnampalam Markandu and is survived by her sons, Mark Ketheeswaran  and wife Tsi  of Fayetteville, NC, Jegatheeswaran Markandu and wife Inthu of Sydney, Australia, Vakeeswaran Markandu and wife Amirthasri of Toronto, Canada, and Batmesswaran and wife Dusantthi of Melbourne, Australia and a daughter Sivadharshny Gajendra and husband Ranjit Gajendra of Melbourne, Australia;  grandchildren Luckshume, Meenakshi, Meeradevi, Mayurika, Gerthika, Ramya, Steeve Sanjay, Vruksha Karen, Haryharakrishna, Maathangkiteaviy, Kaneeka, Anushka, and Nadeshmark.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, March 26, 2018, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Care Clinic, Robeson St. Fayetteville, NC 28301.
