Noah L. Frazier – A Century of Service, Wisdom, and Love
Noah L. Frazier, a beloved patriarch, veteran, and cherished member of the Fayetteville, NC community, joyfully completed his remarkable century-long journey on June 23, 2025. Born on July 7, 1925, in Rockingham, NC, to the late Lula Mae and John Colin Frazier, Noah’s life was a vibrant tapestry of service, family, and wisdom that will forever inspire those who knew him.
Noah’s legacy began early, joining the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1941, igniting a lifelong commitment to serving others. In 1942, he proudly enlisted in the Navy, followed by an illustrious 17-year career in the Army, where he rose to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3 before retiring in 1965. His dedication continued in the civil service as an electronics mechanic at Simmons Army Airfield from 1977 to 1987, where his expertise and work ethic shone brightly.
At the heart of Noah’s life was his 68-year love story with his beloved wife, Irmgard Frazier, who preceded him in death. Together, they built a family filled with warmth and laughter, leaving a legacy of love that endures through their children, Eric T. Frazier, Jeffrey C. Frazier, and Brenda G. Lofton; grandchildren Adam T. Frazier, Melissa M. Boyster, Leanna J. Frazier, Jeffrey N. Frazier, Kathe Monk, and Richard Lofton; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who brought him boundless joy.
Noah was a man of simple pleasures, finding his greatest happiness in the company of his family. Always ready with a story, a lesson, or a kind word, he delighted in sharing his vast wisdom, leaving an indelible mark on every heart he touched. His infectious spirit and unwavering devotion to those he loved will be celebrated for generations.
A jubilant celebration of Noah’s extraordinary life will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Service in Fayetteville, NC, with military honors to honor his service. The family warmly invites friends to join them in sharing memories from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
