Marilyn Joyce Staats, 74, of Fayetteville, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Evart, MI, on May 24, 1942 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse and Alice Staats.
Marilyn was a strong person who could always find a silver lining in every situation. She was always willing to give of herself if it meant that others would find joy in what she had to give.
Marilyn is survived by her niece, Electa Carmoney and husband Tim of Fayetteville; sister, Yavonne Martz of Suracuse, IND; brother, Jesse Staats, Jr. of Jackson, MI; and several other nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
