Mrs. Nancy Griffin Tubb
Mrs. Nancy Griffin Tubb, 91, Southport, NC, formerly of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 in Southport, NC.
She was born on January 26, 1926 in Columbus County, NC to the late Leslie G. Griffin and Ellie Nance Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her soul mate and husband Kimuel Tubb; one son David Tubb.
Nancy was the founder of Tubb’s Florist along with her late husband and a devoted member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by two son’s Leslie K. Tubb, of Southport, NC and James “Jimmy†D. Tubb and wife Sheila, of Creedmore, NC; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Lafayette Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
Memorials may be made to the David Tubb Fund for Cancer Research C/O Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Medical Center Boulevard, Winston Salem, NC 27157.
