Mrs. Marilyn Adkins Owen, 73, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 12, 1943, in South Shore, KY, to the late Ellis C. Adkins and Ruth Warnock Adkins.
She is survived by her husband Paul Owen of the home; one daughter Dianna Wood and her husband Lynn of Linden, NC; two sons Michael Willis of Fayetteville, NC and Paul Keith Owen of Willow Springs, NC; four grandchildren Jessica Wood, Jonathan Wood, Matthew Wood and Paul Keith Owen; and a great-granddaughter Addison Wood; two sisters Faye Helms of Zanesville, OH and Norma Bowling of South Shore, KY; brothers Don Adkins of South Shore, KY, Herb Adkins of Lewisville, TX, David Adkins of South Shore, KY and Roger Adkins of Marysville, OH.
The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Brett Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park West.
