Mrs. Elsie Maxine Toman, 79, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at her home.
She was born on May 13, 1937 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Archie Blackman Alphin and Lena Johnson Alphin.
Maxine was lifelong member of Judson Missionary Baptist Church. She was the former secretary at Judson Missionary Baptist Church for over 20 years.
She is survived by her husband W.C. Toman, Sr., of the home; two sons William C. Toman, Jr. and wife Theresa and Christopher M. Toman and wife Angela all of Fayetteville, NC; one grandson Zachary Toman.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Judson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Brookshire officiating.
The family requests that memorials be made to Judson Missionary Baptist Church C/O Cemetery Fund 505 Judson Church Road, Fayetteville, and NC 28312.
