Mrs. Elfriede F. Schrimpf Capps, 86, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017.
She was born on June 6, 1930 in Munich, Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ret. U.S. Air Force MSGT Arthur Gwyn Capps and a son U.S. Army Sgt. Walter Robert Capps.
She was a member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a sister-in-law Faye Capps Murrell, of Columbia, SC and five nephews and one niece.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Christus Victor Lutheran Church.
Burial will be private at Lafayette Memorial Park.
