Mrs. Edith Webster Lockey, 82, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away, on Saturday, July 11, 2015, in Fayetteville, NC, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 13, 1933, in Dillon, SC to the late Rembert W. Webster, Sr. and Eula Mae Bullard Webster.
She worked for Wellman Industries for over 50 years prior to retiring.
Mrs. Lockey was one of four generations referred to themselves as âThe Webster Womenâ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul N. Lockey, three brothers Rembert Jr.âDubâ, Willie âBillâ, and Fred, and two Sisters Evelyn and Marian.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie âElaineâ Webster of Hope Mills, NC; one granddaughter, Star Johnson of Hope Mills, NC; one great-granddaughter, Kelsey Webster of Clayton, NC; and one sister, Shirley Bunce of Fayetteville, NC.
The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Sullivanâs Highland Funeral Service & Crematory. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sullivanâs Highland Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
