Mr. Larry Stevens McPhail
Larry Stevens McPhail, aka Turtle, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 22, 2016 surrounded by loved ones, one day after his 70th birthday.
He is the son of previously deceased Eugene Holt McPhail and Ruby Barefoot McPhail.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carole Douglas McPhail, daughter, Nicole Kuhn, son-in-law, Jason Kuhn, and the lights of his life, his grandchildren (Julian “Robert†Kuhn, Steven Kuhn, Mikayla Kuhn, Madison Kuhn, and unborn great-grandchild). Also, surviving him are his two sisters, Daphene Cottle of Godwin and Judy Aldridge of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
He was a 30 year member of the Stedman Masonic Lodge #730 A.F. & A.M. He was Past Governor of the Loyal Order Of Moose #738. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 at 12:30. Both will be at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Services in Fayetteville, N.C. The burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
