Mr. Benjamin Hunter Fortenberry, 24, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013.
He was born on April 1, 1989 on Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska.
He was a 2007, graduate of Jack Britt High School, and was a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his parents Jeff and Paula Thomson; two brothers Alex Fortenberry and Nick Fortenberry; maternal grandparents David and Evelyn Crane; paternal grandparents Kenneth and Pat Fortenberry and Wayne and Patty Thomson.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. in the gathering hall of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Fayetteville Family Life Center C/O Snyder Memorial Baptist Church 701 Westmont Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28305.
Services entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service, and Crematory, of Fayetteville, NC.
