Mildred "Mickey" Morehead

C. Mildred “Mickey” Morehead, 91, of Fayetteville, NC, formerly of Abingdon, MD, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Woodlands Nursing Home.

She was born in Glade Spring, VA, on November 15, 1925.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Morehead, and grandson, Chad Sullivan.

Mildred is survived by her daughters, Dora Woods of Fayetteville, NC, Brenda Sullivan (Gary) of Abingdon, MD., Donna Stevens (Tom) of Abingdon, MD; son, Steven Morehead of Essex, MD; grandchildren, Chastity Woods, Tara Woods, Stacie Brock, Lisa Samples, and Matthew Brock; great-grandchildren, Zachary Lewis, Caleb Van Winkle, Sadie Long, Madison Meyers, Molly Samples, Maggie Samples, Jason Brock, and Logan Capozzi.

The family has planned a private service.
