Maxine dedicated her professional life to serving her country, working as a law librarian for the Department of the Army. Her commitment to her career was marked by a tireless work ethic and a passion for public service that inspired those around her.
She leaves behind two sons, Phillip D. Ellis and George G. Ellis, who cherish her memory and the values she instilled in them. Maxine was preceded in death by her late daughter, Karen Yvonne Ellis, and her parents, Robin and Hazel Mitchell.
