Mrs. Mary Bell Carter Stewart, 87, of Wade, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Praise Fellowship Church in Fayetteville. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Praise Fellowship Church. Burial will follow in Old Bluff Cemetery in Godwin.
Mary Bell was a member of Praise Fellowship Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Van B. Stewart; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Hollingsworth and husband Kenny of Fayetteville; son, Robert Sr. of Fayetteville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Praise Fellowship Church, 510 Adams St., Fayetteville, NC 28301.
