Martha Bland McGwier

FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Martha Bland McGwier, 69, of 526 Northview Drive, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in her home. A memorial service will be held today, Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville with Dr. Donna Fowler-Marchant officiating. The burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. today in the church parlor. Mrs. McGwier was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Fayetteville Junior League and the Fayetteville Garden Club. Mrs. McGwier is survived by her husband, F. Paul McGwier of Fayetteville; daughters, Kathleen M. Watts and husband Brian of Cary, and Marian M. Green and husband Robert of Cary; sister, Betty B. McKee and husband Bill of Wake Forrest; and three grandchildren, William, Katherine and Ethan. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 102 Ann St., Fayetteville, NC 28301.
