Marie Gretel DeMattos
Marie G. DeMattos, 83, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Autumn Care Nursing Home.
She was born in Germany on March 12, 1934. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest.
Marie is survived by her sons, Charlie Moore and wife Christie of Charlotte, Dennis Fischer and wife Ulla of Hope Mills; sister, Kathryn Moore of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Ellie Moore of Fayetteville; grandsons, Jacob Moore and wife Alisha of Aurora, IL, Dennis Fischer II of Fayetteville; and 2 great grandchildren.
Marie will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at 10 am on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
