Malcolm “Mike†Andrew Pope, 64, of Hope Mills, passed away Saturday July 28, 2012 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Pope Enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. He served his country during the Vietnam war and continued to serve until retiring.
Mr. Pope is survived by his wife, Emma Jill; daughter, Opal Page and Tommy; son, Brian Pope and wife Leslie; sister, Tammy Brisson all of Hope Mills; brother, Randy Pope and wife Joyce of Houston TX; 4 grandchildren, Rebecca Pope, Scott Page, Drew Pope, and Alexis Nacey.
The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Wednesday August 1, 2012 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. The service will be held 10:30am Thursday at Hope Mills Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 Noon.
