Lisa Grace Shook Vieaux passed at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on March 3, 2012.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Herman E. Shook and second husband James C. Vieaux, daughters Sue Clark, and Linda Baker, son Sp4 James E. Shook and son-in-law Gary Haugh.
She is survived by children Eddie & Anita Shook of York, SC., Debbie & Dennis Lee of Stedman, NC, Jenny & Ernie Stubbs of Hope Mills, NC., Ricky & Revonda Shook of Wade, NC., Lisa & Stanley Britt of Fayetteville, NC., and Teresa Haugh of Eastover, NC., and 25 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Vieaux was a housewife and worked in housekeeping. She also worked in the early stages of the CCap program so all children could have the tools needed for attending school.
She later traveled with James Vieaux in the trucking industry and traveled all across the United States. After retirement, she settled in Stedman, NC. Everyone enjoyed hearing about their experiences. They also enjoyed her home cooked meals.
Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 2pm at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service and Crematory, with the Rev. Jerry Groves officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
Then family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service.
