Judy Butler Robinson

Mrs. Judy Butler Robinson, 82, of Fayetteville, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, June 12, 2023.

Judy was born and raised in Gray’s Creek and was the daughter of William Gordon Butler and Mildred Lewis Butler.   She spent a decade in Florida in the 60’s prior to returning to Fayetteville to start and raise a family with her husband of 42 years, Kenneth Robinson.   Judy owned and operated a successful retail clothing store, Sack’s Consigned Designs, for 31 years in Fayetteville.  She loved helping animals and people in need.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11 am at Sherwood Presbyterian Church in Gray’s Creek.  Rev. James Crain will be presiding. 

Judy is survived by her two daughters, Amy Robinson Elliott and spouse, Michael, of Fayetteville, and Lisa Stancil and spouse, Cary, of Powhatan, VA; four grandchildren, Phillip Derr, Savannah Elliott, Shaw Stancil, and Gray Stancil.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Robinson, and sister, Nancy Tyson.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
