Joyce Wright Shaw, 77, was born August 7, 1934 in Cumberland County to John Bruton Wright and Elizabeth Williamson Wright. She lived in Fayetteville for over 60 years before moving to Hoke County.
Mrs. Shaw is predeceased by her husband, William A. Shaw and her son, Mark A. Shaw.
Mrs. Shaw is survived by her daughter Teresa Shaw McDougald and husband Daniel of Raeford; son, Cary B. Shaw of Belmont and grandson, Matthew A. Shaw of Fayetteville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private service at a later date.
