J. Douglas McPhail, Jr.

Mr. James Douglas “Doug” McPhail, Jr., 60, of Durham, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at UNC Hospice House of Pittsboro.

He was born on January 27, 1957 in Fayetteville to James and the late Lula McPhail .

Doug is survived by his father, James McPhail, Sr.; sister Ann Matthews and husband Marc; and niece, Taylor Thomason and husband Brad.

A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 2pm, on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
