Inge Emma Haynes

Mrs. Inge Emma Haynes, 81, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

Inge was born in Fulda, Germany on January 31, 1941.   She met John Harold Haynes while he was serving with the US Army in Germany and they later married on February 13, 1961, in Gersfeld, Germany.  She moved to the United States in 1969 and became a citizen on June 14, 1972. 

Inge was an outdoor person, and it was reflected in her hobbies.  She flew gliders, loved to ski and hike and tend to her garden.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 10 am at Cumberland Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tracy Pounders presiding.

Inge is survived by her three children, Patricia Townsend of Spring Lake, John Haynes of Hope Mills, and James Haynes of Tennessee; and six grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John.
