George Graham Davis, Jr.
George Graham Davis, Jr, 88, of Wade, passed away peacefully at Moore Regional Hospital on Monday, July 15, 2024.
He was born in Cumberland County on May 6, 1936, to the late George Graham Davis, Sr. and Marie Elaine McDonald Davis. George was also preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Magdalene “Mag” Brewer Davis; his daughter, Laura Ann Davis; and his sister, Margaret Ann Davis Holmes.
Left to cherish George’s memory is his daughter, Janet Davis of Fayetteville; son, George Graham Davis, III of Wade; sister, Mary Davis Roberson of Garner; brother, William “Bill” Davis of Parkton; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
