Fulton Harvey Gore, a beloved member of the Fayetteville community and owner and operator of Gore Heating and Air since 1978, passed away on October 13, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Born on January 29, 1958, in Ft. Bragg, NC, Harvey exemplified the qualities of a dedicated family man, a knowledgeable historian, and a cherished friend to many.
Harvey was a proud graduate of Terry Sanford High School, where he laid the foundation for a life characterized by hard work and determination. His career in HVAC services flourished as he built a reputation for providing exceptional service and reliability, which earned him the respect and trust of his customers over the years.
Harvey’s passion extended beyond his professional life; he had a notable sense of humor and was a big people person who never met a stranger. Those fortunate enough to know him admired his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He held a deep affection for his grandchildren, Ethan, Raegan, Noah, and Luke, and found immense joy in spending time with them. His love for family was matched only by his fondness for the beach and the water, where he often found peace and happiness.
Harvey is survived by his devoted son, Nicholas Gore and his wife Kimberly; his daughter, Kelli Nicole Liddle and her husband Sean; two brothers, Luther Gore III and his wife Sharon, and Ashley Gore and his wife Ruth Ann; as well as multiple nieces and nephews who will remember him affectionately.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Madison Gore and Annie Chestnut Gore, and his brother, Ernest Terry Gore.
