Eva Mae Faircloth Horn

Eva Mae Horn of Grays Creek passed away at her home on August 2, 2021. Mae Horn was born in Cumberland County to the late Hinton and Eva Childress Faircloth. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband US Army MSG Ret. Edmon “Bob” Horn of 59 years, her siblings: Martha Prosperi, Bruce Faircloth, Wilbur Faircloth, and Bill Faircloth. Left to cherish her memory is her very special grandniece Jessica, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and cousins. She will be cherished for the difference she made in this world and every person she touched.


Eva Mae Horn was an active member of the Gray’s Creek Woman’s Club, Gray’s Creek Christian Center and Marvin United Methodist Church.


The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 1 to 2 pm at Marvin United Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, August 9, 2021, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to one of the above-mentioned charities.
