Elbridge "Eb" Odis McLaurin

Elbridge “Eb” Odis McLaurin, 95, of Eastover, NC passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at the VA Medical Center in Durham, NC.

He was born on February 27, 1923, in Cumberland County, NC to the late Archibald Holmes and Blanche Geddie McLaurin.

He was a WWII Veteran where he served in the 8th U.S. Army Unit receiving numerous medals and commendations.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elma Warren McLaurin.

Eb is survived by one son, Donovan McLaurin, of Wade; three grandchildren, Anita McLaurin, Robert McLaurin, and Ryan McLaurin; three great-grandchildren Emma McLaurin, Haley McLaurin, and Cain Hollis.

The family will receive friends from 9:45 am to 10:30 am on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Salem United Methodist Church, in Eastover.

Funeral Services will follow at 10:30 a.m. in sanctuary of Salem United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
