Earl Tyrone Haynes, 72, of Fayettevile passed away Monday August 1, 2011.
Earl served and retired from the US Army after 20 years of service.  Earl served one tour in Vietnam and two tours in Germany.  His last duty station was in Fort Richardson Alaska.  After retirement he spent 12 years in civil services in Alaska.  Earl and his wife returned to Fayetteville 15 years ago.
Mr. Haynes retirement years were spent enjoying his garden and Nascar.  Earl loved spending time with his dog Sabre, but his ultimate enjoyment was spending time with his family, kids and grandkids.  

Earl is survived by his wife Glenda; 3 daughters Wanda Taylor of Eastover, Shirley Stewart of Eligin, OK and Renee Haynes of Anchorage, AK; 3 sons William “Bill” Haynes and Larry Haynes both of Fayetteville and Earl Haynes Jr. of Montgomery, MN; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Luanne Colyer.

A visitation will be held at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service Wednesday night from 7-9pm.  Funeral Services will be held 2pm Thursday at Vander Church of God.  Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens on Raeford Road.
