Doris Bright Smith

Ms. Doris Bright Smith, 90, of Fayetteville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

Doris worked at Lakedale Mill (Burlington Mills) in Massey Hill until they closed the plant.  She then worked as a production supervisor at Fasco Industries until her retirement.

Her greatest joy came from all the various ministries that she participated in and led over the years.  She was a true disciple who faithfully shared the love of Jesus Christ with others.

Doris is survived by her brother, Bobby Bright and his wife, Sue; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Avann and Mary Bright; daughter, Shelia Renée; and her brothers, Howard and J.W.

Funeral services will be private.
