Debbie O'Quinn, cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at the age of 72 on July 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and steadfast devotion. She was welcomed into eternal peace by her mother Athleen Riley, her father William Jackson, her stepfather Patrick O. Riley, and her brother William "Bill" Jackson—reunited in heaven with the family that shaped her heart and spirit.
Debbie’s life was a testament to resilience, warmth, and love for those closest to her. She made Fayetteville, NC her home, but her true dwelling place was in the hearts of the many she touched with her gentle strength and sense of humor.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters Beverly Conoly (Chuck) and Vickie Williford, who were the lights of her life. Her joy multiplied in the faces of her grandchildren Kristopher O'Quinn-Winger, Nicholas Winger, Anna-Grace, Reagan, Dawn (Raymond), and Savannah, and even more with her great-grandchildren Carson, Kinsley, and Raymond Jr. Her brother Ray Jackson (Sandy), sister Ann McDowell (Ken), a sister-in-love Verdeen Jackson. Debbie also leaves behind countless nieces and nephews and uncles who cherished her unique presence and tender spirit.
Among those who will miss her most is her dearest friend of over 50 years, Vicki Wiggins (Gary Chadwell). Their lifelong bond was one of laughter, loyalty, and sisterhood—a connection where love has no end.
Her love extended not only to family and friends, but also to her cherished furry companions, Lily and Carly, who brought her boundless joy and comfort. They were constants in her life—furry reminders of loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love.
Debbie’s memory will linger in the quiet moments, the joyful ones, and the stories shared around every family gathering. Her love lives on in the generations she shaped, and in the lessons she taught simply by being herself.
