Callie McClenny Beale, a cherished member of her community and a devoted family matriarch, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, in Eastover, North Carolina. Born on March 7, 1935, in Sampson County, Callie lived a life that was rich in love, dedication, and service to others.

With a career spanning more than three decades, Callie worked for Carolina Telephone & Telegraph, later known as Sprint, where her commitment and hard work earned her respect and admiration among colleagues and customers alike. 

Beyond her professional life, Callie was a longtime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she found strength and fellowship among fellow parishioners. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with a sense of purpose and connection to her community.

Callie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James “Jeff” Beale, with whom she shared many joyful years. Together, they built a legacy of love and support for their family.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Green and her husband Greg, of Fayetteville; her son, Douglas Beale and his wife Pattie, of Clinton; two grandchildren, Morgan Reese and Brittney Beale; and three great-grandchildren. Callie’s family was the pride of her life, and she embraced each moment spent with them, leaving behind countless memories that will be cherished forever.

As we gather to remember Callie McClenny Beale, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by her devotion to her family, her unwavering work ethic, and her steadfast faith. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her, and her legacy will undoubtedly endure through generations.
