Ava Perdue Campbell, 84, of Fayetteville, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
She was born in Penhook, VA on November 9, 1935 to Dodd and Drusie Perdue.
Ava, a graduate of Old Dominion University in Virginia, retired as a teacher with Cumberland County Schools.
Ava is survived by her sons; Tim Campbell and wife, Sarah, of Wilmington, NC, Carl Campbell, of Morrisville, NC; Grandchildren; Brian Crowell, and wife Meg, of Greenville, NC, Amy Baker, and husband, Jamie, of Buies Creek, NC, Alicia Morris and husband, Adam, of Orlando, FL, and Jacob Smith and wife Deidre, of Fayetteville, NC, five great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Knipmeyer, sisters-in-law, Nan Perdue and Ann Campbell; brother-in-law, Grover Jenkins, and several nieces and nephews.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eutaw United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 35485, Fayetteville, NC 28303.
