SPRING LAKE - Mrs. Antonette "Toni" Pegram, 78, of Spring Lake, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011, in Womack Army Medical Center.

Mrs. Pegram is survived by her son, Richard Pegram and his wife Kathy of Tampa, Fla.; her daughter, Patricia Sanders of Easley, S.C.; six grandchildren, Katy Stevens, Jessica Mefford, Joanna and Joey Mistretta, and Karli and Keri Sanders; and two great-grandchildren, as well as two expected great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pegram was the wife of Sgt. Maj. Richard Pegram Jr., who was killed in action in Vietnam in 1968. She retired from Fayetteville City schools as a teacher's aide. Her family says that her rhythm and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2011, at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Services entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory of Faytteville.
