Anna Marea Blanton

Mrs. Anna Marea Bridges Blanton, 68, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was born on November 21, 1949 in Lawndale, NC to the late Rev. W. Harold Bridges and Helen Gregg Bridges.  She was also preceded in death by a brother Harold G. Bridges.

She was a former social worker with Cumberland County Department of Social Services.  Anna Marea and her father founded B & B Insurance Agency together.

She is survived by her loving husband Michael Blanton, of the home; a niece Dawn B. Benner, of White Oak, NC and a nephew Gregg Bridges, of Holden Beach, NC; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 11:45 am until 12:45 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Services.  A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jerry Johnson and Rev. Robert Staples officiating.
