Alta M. Budd

Alta Mae Budd, 86, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was born in Bladen County on October 29, 1931, to the late Owen and Annie Cain.

Alta is survived by her husband, Rev. Donald Budd; daughters, Susan (Mark) Knox of Hope Mills, Karen (Ronnie) Pilcher of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Brandon Pilcher, Chad Pilcher, and Chris Knox; 6 great grandchildren; and sisters, Elzola Padgett and Carolyn Peterson.

The family will receive friends from 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.  Alta’s funeral is scheduled for 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
