Alma Jane Lohela

Alma Jane Lohela, age 95, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, formerly of Fayetteville, NC passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026. 

Born on June 13, 1930 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Alma lived a full and vibrant life marked by her dedication to family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arvo E. Lohela. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Kari Lohela (Jeanne) of Sun Lakes, Arizona, Shari Eliades (Jim Brown) of Sebec, Maine, Kirsti Taylor (Jimmy) of Gulf Breeze, Florida, and Erik Lohela (Jennifer Burnett) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and grandchildren: Alex Eliades (Paige) of Avon, IN, Ryan Taylor of Atlanta, GA, Patrick Taylor of Franklin, TN, and Mason Lohela of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. 

The family expresses deep gratitude to People’s Hospice and the staff at The Beacon of Gulf Breeze, who helped to lovingly care for her. 

The family will have a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Alma’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
