Alice Konkol-Wilbur

Alice Konkol-Wilbur, 70, of Raeford, NC passed away peacefully at her home January 28, 2023.  She was surrounded by her loving family, friends and loyal dog. 

Alice was born and raised around Worcester, MA. The third out of five children, she loved road  trips, the ocean, reading, baking and crocheting. Her “Nana blankies”, grace many a bed or back  of the couch all over this country. “I like to make things for the ones I love”, she often would  say. It was her own creative love language. 

She was the wife of Francis Wilbur, the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (McIsaac)  Konkol. Sister to the late Kathleen Delorey, the late Theresa Seaver, Joseph Konkol and the late  Karl Konkol. Mother to Julie (Sanderski) Katz and Stephanie (Sanderski) Paul. Nana to Riley,  Tyler, Brody, Dustin, Rory and Emily.  

Though our arms can’t hold her anymore here on Earth, she has many who will hug her in  Heaven for us. This was never goodbye Alice. This is a promise for a cup of tea and  conversation for when we meet again.
